The Hamburg traditional Teahouse interTee was founded in 1967 by the tradesman Karl-Heinz Schwedt. Since then we have specialized in trading tea from everywhere in the World and from 1995 we have enhanced our range with exclusive tea accessories.

With the appointment of Hanspeter Gesing in 1986, the company traded under the name "interTee Handelsgesellschaft Gesing & Company" until Holger Sturm purchased the company at the end of July 2009. Under the leadership of Messer's Schwedt and Gesing, the quality of our products has been and continues to be the hallmark of the company's philosophy. Our commitment to the highest standards of quality control coupled with our traditional experience and expert knowledge has led to our excellent reputation.

The preservation of our company's tradition is as important to us as the development of our company and products. Therefore we have the fines tea taster team working in conjunction with a research and development team who are continuously generating new and innovative ideas for our accessories range.

As a company we set ourselves apart by sourcing only the best teas from around the World and earned further distinction with our exclusive range of speciality teas created in house by our tea taster for our customers indugence.

To compliment the authentic taste of our teas, we offer a large assortment of tea accessories, including items of Fine Bone China porcelain, exclusively available at interTee. Also available are glass teapots, decorative tea caddies and small delightful delicacies.
